Reviews for Memphis the Musical in Jacksonville

There has been lots of buzz around the Broadway show Memphis the Musical, which opened at Jacksonville’s Times-Union Center this past Tuesday and runs through this Sunday night, March 23rd. Winner of four 2010 Tony Awards® including Best Musical, Memphis is about a white radio DJ (“Huey”) who wants to change the world and a black club singer (“Felicia”) who is ready for her big break. Inspired by actual events, this hot new Broadway musical features a Tony®-winning original score with music by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan.
